[Apple Orchard Falls] [Fallingwater Cascade]

    • Total Driving Time (from I-81/Exit 167): ~1 hour (Round Trip)
  • Driving Directions/Hiking Directions:
    1. From Interstate-81, take Exit 167 (Buchanan).
    2. After 0.1 miles, Turn LEFT onto US-11/LEE HIGHWAY.
    3. After ~1 mile, Turn LEFT onto VA-43 SOUTH.
    4. After 4.6 miles, Turn RIGHT onto BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY NORTH.
    5. After ~11 miles, At milepost 78.4, Turn LEFT into the Apple Orchard Falls Parking Lot.
    6. Hike the Apple Orchard Falls Trail.
    7. From the Apple Orchard Falls Parking Lot, turn RIGHT onto BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY SOUTH.
    8. While on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Feel free to visit some of the spectacular overlooks such as Onion Mountain Overlook, At milepost 79.7.
    9. After ~5 miles, At milepost 83.1, Turn RIGHT into the Fallingwater Cascade Parking Lot.
    10. Hike the Fallingwater Cascade Trail.
    11. From the Fallingwater Cascade Parking Lot, turn RIGHT onto BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY SOUTH.
    12. After ~6 miles, Turn RIGHT onto VA-43.
    13. After 4.7 miles, Stay STRAIGHT to go onto US-11/MAIN ST. Continue to follow US-11.
    14. After ~1 mile, Merge onto Interstate-81.
