    [Apple Orchard Falls Trail]

    1. From the Apple Orchard Falls Parking Lot, Follow the ASPHALT SIDEWALK that is to the right of the sign pictured above.
    2. The asphalt sidewalk will end after ~100 feet and become a dirt path that will bend RIGHT past a Trail Information Board.
    3. Look for the "blue blaze" marks on the trees to make sure you're following the Apple Orchard Falls Trail.
    4. After ~0.2 miles, the Appalachain Trail will cross the Apple Orchard Falls Trail. Continue going STRAIGHT on the Apple Orchard Falls Trail.
    5. After ~0.8 miles, the Cornelius Creek Trail (more like a road), will cross the Apple Orchard Trail. Continue going STRAIGHT on the Apple Orchard Trail.
    6. After ~1.2 miles, the Apple Orchard Falls can be easily viewed thanks to a viewing platform/walkway at the bottom of the falls.
    7. After viewing Apple Orchard Falls, the Apple Orchard Falls Trail will continue for an additional 2.0 miles to the headwaters of North Creek. Instead of hiking the rest of the trail, TURN AROUND, and hike back up to the parking lot.
